Mission Statement

At Global Medical Training at the University of Texas at Arlington, our mission is to empower students from all academic backgrounds to engage in transformative healthcare and community service. We provide unique opportunities to travel to Central and South America to deliver essential healthcare and resources to marginalized populations. Rooted in the values of honesty, integrity, and passion, we aim to foster a spirit of compassion and ethical service. Through our efforts, we strive to create lasting memories, build life-long friendships, and inspire personal growth. Peru 2025

Students were able to visit Peru during the Spring Break of 2025. Sites visited were:

  • Callao x2

  • Ventanilla

  • Punta Negra

  • A total of 750 patients were seen in 4 clinic days!

Panama 2024

Students were able to visit Panama during the spring break of 2024 as well. Sites visited were:

  • Las Marias

  • Penonome

  • El Pajonal

  • Chiguiri Arriba

Panama 2023

Students were able to visit Panama during the Spring Break of 2023. Sites visited were:

  • Burunga

  • La Chorrera

  • Vacamonte Altamira

  • Arraijan

Campus Activities

While our primary focus at Global Medical Training is our impactful spring break trip, we also host a variety of engaging events on campus throughout the year.

These events provide a welcoming space for students to connect and network with like-minded individuals, gain valuable healthcare certifications, and grow personally and professionally.
